Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) technology recycles the vapor generated during evaporation compressing it mechanically to raise its pressure and temperature, then reusing it as the heat source for continued evaporation. This requires up to 90% less external steam compared to traditional multi-effect evaporators, translating to massive savings in fuel, steam generation, and overall operating costs. Boiling temperatures are lower under vacuum conditions, making MVR especially well-suited for materials that degrade under high heat such as enzymes, dairy products, fruit concentrates, and pharmaceutical intermediates. Systems are scalable from small batch operations to continuous large-scale processing.
